Artist Statement
A story transforms into art when it hits the right notes to stir a shift in the listener's perspective and transforms life patterns from that moment. To make it happen is also an art where all the craftspeople pull together with a design that gets it rolling.

What I'm Creating
A coalition to unlock a system to enable equity seeking Asian heritage artists and stakeholders engaged with the Thousand Faces Festival as a diverse platform together with Chinatown Transformation Collective, Council of India Societies of Edmonton, Canadian Multicultural Education Foundation, Canadians for a Civil Society and the communities they serve.
Where I am on my Decolonization Journey
In 2015, I brought in a crumbling family tree record to the Provincial Archives for consultation and discovered the implications of South Asian absence or perhaps exclusion from private records and a need for trust building relationships, one restorative build at a time.
