Residing in Brampton, Ontario, I am Jolie Malik—a South Asian Canadian teenager. I wear many hats: daughter, student, poet, screenwriter, photographer, and burgeoning videographer. Utilizing every available platform, I strive to amplify underrepresented communities, shedding light on issues spanning race and social class.

Through my art, I weave personal stories, unraveling the realities of being a South Asian teenage girl in Canada. My ultimate goal is to inspire those who feel unheard or oppressed, empowering them to share their voices in their own unique ways. I humbly acknowledge that I cannot speak for everyone's realities, but I can encourage others to embrace their narratives and celebrate the diverse tapestry of human experience.
