Currently based in London, England, Georgia Couver is an Chinese Canadian, cis-femme queer music composer, performer, musician and artist on the Autism Spectrum from Vancouver BC (unceded lands and territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Coast Salish peoples). She specializes in creating Neo-Classical Punk femme strings pieces, through Asian queer and disability arts. However she is always looking to expand her works and abilities as a musician throughout her many opportunities, from instrumentation to visual arts. She has performed alongside Vancouver orchestras and collaborated with John Jack Patersen in few of his theater productions. She first produced her musical event featuring LGBTQ emerging artists, prior to the COVID 19 pandemic in March 2020. Throughout her musical journey, she debuted as a burlesque composer for Strange Seductions’ Secrets from the Shadows (a queer love adaptation of Hades and Persephone) in 2019 at the Fox Cabaret. On July 1 2018, her first string quartet piece premiered at the Vancouver Maritime Museum on Canadian Broadcasting company as part of the Jean Coulthard String quartet reading session. During her visual arts time, her pieces exhibited at the Hot Wet Art event, as well as the Eastside Cultural Crawl, and Outsiders and Others. She resided at the Octopus Studios in Vancouver, BC until September 2022.
